Lyrics:

Di ka ba nagtataka
Ako'y nasa lansangan
At ikaw ay nasa sasakyan
Papuntang paaralan

Makatapos kaya ako
Kahit mga libro'y pinaglumaan mo
Pangarap lang ba
Pagka't mahirap lang ako

PRE-CHORUS:
Pwede bang sumali sa inyong laro
Kahit kunwa-kunwaring nag-aaral din ako

CHORUS:

Magulang at kapatid,
Nakaasa sa akin

Bata sino ba
Ang nagtuturo't gumagabay sa'yo
May pag-asa pa bang
Maturuan din nya ako

REPEAT PRE-CHORUS, CHORUS

BRIDGE:
Sa lahat ng inaasam
Isa ang pinakagusto
Na sana'y pagtanda natin
Wala ng batang tulad ko

English Translation:

Do you ever wonder
I am by the side streets
And you are in a vehicle
on your way to school

Will I ever be able to attend school
Even if I were to have your old school books
Is this what I'm made to face
Because I am a poor child

Chorus

Will you ever accept me to play with you
Even if we pretend that I study in school like you do
Is it fate that brought us here to be so different
I hope that one day soon I may be the same as you
How is it to write, to be able to read as you do?
Child do you know that I am a child just like you?

I continue to beg
It's just that no one notices me
My family and siblings
depend on me

Child, who is it
that teaches you and watches over you?
Is there a chance
that they may teach me to?

Repeat pre-chorus, chorus
